Reciting melody and theme of old inclines me to look back again,
and remember my life when seemed so good - I wonder what went so wrong.
I lie to myself by saying that everything was alright.

Then I recall that at this point I thought that existence was bleak,
and I looked to the past with a fond memory of the times I was having before.

So in the unforseen unfolding scene will I look back on now,
and remember having a whale of a time and I wish I forgot how to breathe.
